A versatile tumbler for whatever you desire—a small beer, a glass of wine, or a morning coffee. The piece was wheel-thrown and spent 72 hours inside the Anagama kiln, followed by a week of slow cooling to let the clay rest.
Left entirely unglazed, both the interior and exterior are a direct map of the kiln’s atmosphere, capturing the path of the flames and the settling ash at 1300°C. Because the interior remains raw, the natural texture of the clay helps to aerate beer as it is poured, creating a beautiful, fine foam.
A rugged yet refined addition to a quiet summer evening.
Dimensions (appx.) : 9 × ⌀6.5cm
