Designed to be held, these cups are the perfect size for a morning coffee. They were wheel-thrown and spent 72 hours inside the Anagama kiln, followed by a slow, week-long cooling period to let the clay rest.
The exterior is left unglazed, allowing the clay to capture the direct path of the flames and the settling ash at 1300°C. In contrast, the interior is finished with a clear, transparent glaze to highlight the natural warmth of the clay. This creates a striking balance between the rugged, fire-marked outside and the smooth surface within.
Each cup is a unique record of the kiln’s atmosphere—a small companion for your morning rituals.
Dimensions (appx.) : 6 × ⌀6.5cm
